What is this?
The engine forecasts each station's daily maximum temperature from an analog pool over historical weather, blended with an external daily-max estimate under explicit plausibility guards, and publishes a probability band with it.
The score is a weighted composite of four measured pillars: centre skill against a persistence baseline, band coverage balance, bucket-distribution shape skill, and calibration integrity — the same numbers the operator runs the engine on. No cherry-picking: the scoreboard measures what production actually published, not what a backtest promised.
